Following are the answers to common questions about placing an order, payment options, shipping, delivery, order status, and book requests.

If you would like to place an order with us, please follow the steps listed below:

  1. Log into your account to personalize your account, creating a wishlist, seeing your browsing history, and books you’ve purchased. Registration is free and can be done anytime.
  2. Browse the site for the book(s) you would like to order. If you know the book or item you’re looking for, you can type in the Title, Author, or ISBN in the Search Bar on the main page. If the product you have in mind isn’t stocked or available on the website, we recommend usingBook Requestso we can personally check the books and add them to our next book hunt.
  3. Once you have clicked on a book, add it to your shopping cart by clicking on the “Add to Cart” button. All your books will be saved in your Shopping Cart, which you can review before you proceed to Checkout.
  4. Once you have selected all the books you would like, click the View Cart button in the same book window or the Cart button at the top right of the page. At Checkout, you will be prompted to fill in the information needed for payment and delivery. (Customer and Billing Information, Shipping/Delivery Information, and Mode of Payment) Please double-check if your order is correct, then you will be directed to payment.
  5. You will receive an order confirmation, which can be printed for your convenience.

We accept the following payment method:

  1. Over-the-Counter Bank Deposit via BPI or BDO
  2. Over-the-Counter Non-bank (LBC, Cebuana Lhuillier, and Palawan Express)
  3. Online transfer via BDO and BPI Online Transfer
  4. Paypal payment
  5. Gcash

After you paid, please email or send us proof or a copy of the receipt via our email address (porchreaders@gmaildotcom) or via FB messenger (facebook.com/porchreaderphilippines). You can scan the code here too, to send your proof of payment.

We will verify your payment, and if the transaction is successful, we will send you an email or text you a notification that your payment has been accepted and that we’re preparing your order. We will only process orders after receiving successful payment transactions. Processing orders may take the same day to 2 days, and we will email you a shipment notification once your order has been sent out.

Where in the Philippines do you ship, and what shipping provider do you use?

We ship to any location in the Philippines via Gogo Xpress. The shipping fee will depend on your location, and weight, and size of the items ordered. You can also pick up your books in our bookstore via Lalamove, or Grab Express, or any pick-up service at your convenience.

How long does shipping take?

Orders will be shipped out the next working day after confirmation of payment. We ship every Wednesday and Friday. No shipping on weekends. The shipping schedule on holidays varies depending on Gogo Xpress operational schedule. For Metro Manila deliveries, shipping usually takes 1-2 working days. For Provincial deliveries, it may take 3-5 working days. Once your order has been sent out, we will send you a tracking number, which you may track using this link (Gogo Xpress Tracking)

How do I know when my order is on its way?

We will notify you via text once the courier picks it up. Please allow 7-10 hours before tracking your order, as it will take time for tracking numbers to reflect on Gogo Xpress site. If I can’t find the book that I’m looking for. Do I use Book Request?

If the book/s you’re looking for isn’t available on our website, you can click Book Request.” Fill in the form and the book’s details and we will get back to you in the email you’ve supplied.
